Lately My Days Are:

get up and exercise (swim 1 1/2 miles, run for 30ish minutes or bike 10 miles and sometimes two of these in a row)

jump in the car to take the kids to school

weed the overgrown sidelot of the milkweeds (this takes several hours and several days)

pick up youngest from school

make lunch and cave into his demands to draw a fire truck on his sandwich with food coloring and a toothpick (easier than tackling the tantrum, also? I have become quite good at this)

dishes

maybe laundry. maybe vacuum, maybe pay some bills. er is worse

pick up oldest child (here he is post piano recital)

work on the ad whose deadline looms

make dinner

nag the kids to bed

work on the ad a little more

tape the walls of our bedroom so I can eventually paint it

read one chapter of my book (a Lord Peter Whimsy mystery)

sleep

Wow, you sound tired. When J is older, you can get a lot of guilt-mileage out of that fire truck story.

What ad? Hm?

Which Sayers are you reading?

I admire your fortitude with the whole triathalon thing - it's a huge commitment, and you have embraced it wholeheartedly - you're my hero.

And my word verification is: hoglizes

Happy Hoglizes!

WOW you are going to be so ready for the TRI! Sounds like your training is going well.

I think we need a picture of a sandwich firetruck! Please! You should have plenty of time, judging from your schedule - not!
